Why must I feel so empty inside

I feel so empty ever since we drifted apart and I miss your friendship and all the things we used to do and I wish we could see each other again and be just like we used to be but last it seems to be that it isn't going to happen anytime soon and I keep thinking of you everyday and hope you are thinking about me at times I miss you so much to the point i am suffering from depression and feel like a empty shell of myself and I hate the feeling of emptiness I have a hole in my soul that doesn't seem to be getting any smaller it just keeps growing until there is nothing left of my soul
